Ronaldo scuppers Mancunian hopes by ruling out move to United or City

Cristiano Ronaldo has dismayed football fans in Manchester after ruling out a return to Manchester United or a controversial move to their bitter rivals Manchester City.

The Portuguese striker has insisted he will stay at Real Madrid despite interest from both Premier League teams.

The 27-year-old left United in an astonishing £80million deal in the summer of 2009 and has excelled at the Bernabeu under Jose Mourinho.

'I’m always growing, season after season,' Ronaldo said. 'At Real Madrid I always have to improve to compete with my peers.

'For me it is amazing. I’m always learning and I want to continue. I am very happy.'

The attacker has a remarkable 38 goals in 34 appearances for Real Madrid this season, topping the La Liga scoring chart with 32 goals - two more than Lionel Messi.

Many red half of Mancunian are hoping that he comes back. The blue half also welcomed him as there were rumours that if Jose Mourinho took charge the Citizen he will bring along the Portuguese superstar. When thing went not so nicely at the beginning of this season at Santiago Bernabeu C Ron confused mind kept thinking of England and Man United. He was so puzzled why the people that adored him so much had jeered when had gave his all to the club. This was something that he never experience before at Old Trafford.

So confided to close friends saying that how he miss his time at England. He also not ruled out any possibility on his return. The words spread out. Hopes were high. Rumour mills  kept producing stories.

But I believed he is at the place he loved most. He is now having his best season and time. He still not win any major trophy with Real yet. So he will stay definitely.
