The less glamour cup in England game between United and the League Two outfit Aldershot was quite entertaining one. After the City humiliation at Old Trafford fans all over the world were hoping that United could revenge the defeat by scoring many goals against Aldershot.
Berbatov and Owen were given the task as twin strikers. United also welcome back their captain Nemanja Vidic. Also played were Da Silva, Valencia, Ji Sung Park and Cleverly. Berbatov showed the determination to get his place back with solid performance. He scored one and created one which been converted by Owen. Valencia ended one more after the half time.
However kudos to Aldershot who had no afraid to face the wounded lion. They had spirited game and move forward everytime that the chances.
Good game. I think Ferguson should play Berbatov and Valencia more. They could chance the game
